The NextBeing app
What NextBeing takes in
- The sound from your speakers and your microphone, while Listen is on. It becomes text on your PC. Audio is never sent anywhere.
- The window you work in, while screen reading is on.
- The practice pad, while you practise.
Where it goes
- To write its answers, NextBeing sends the transcript, your documents and the screen pictures to NextBeing's service.
- NextBeing's service passes them to third-party AI and speech providers under contract.
- In practice mode with voice on, the interviewer's lines go to a speech provider to be read aloud.
- We never sell your data. It is never used to train AI models.
What is kept
- On your PC: your transcripts, chats and documents. No audio and no pictures are stored.
- On our server: your email, your name if you sign in with Google, your plan, and usage counts.
- Usage counts are the model used, the number of tokens and the cost. They never include your text.
- Server logs keep the time, the address a request came from, and your account number. They never keep your email.
- Nightly backups of the server are kept for 14 days.
- Usage counts are kept for 13 months. Invoices are kept as long as tax law requires.
Who else is involved
- Google, if you sign in with Google. We receive your email, name and an account ID. Never your password.
- Our payment provider, if you buy a plan. We never see your card.
- Our email provider sends sign-in links.
- Our server is hosted in Germany.
You are in control
- Listen and screen reading are off each time NextBeing starts.
- Ctrl+Alt+P pauses listening.
- You can delete chats in the app, or delete the app's data folder.
Deleting your account
- In the app, open Settings and click Delete twice.
- If you have a subscription, cancel it first in the billing portal.
- We then erase your email, name and Google ID, and sign you out everywhere.
- Backups made before that are overwritten within 14 days.
- We keep invoices the law requires, without your email.
- If you can't open the app, write to platform@nextbeing.ai from your account's address.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct, export or delete your data. You can also complain to your data protection authority. Write to platform@nextbeing.ai.
Other people on a call
Some places require everyone's consent before a conversation is transcribed. Getting that consent is your responsibility.
Children
NextBeing is not for anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, the app tells you before it takes effect.

Your email is needed to join the waitlist. Everything else is optional.
Who receives it
- Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany: hosts the website and the waitlist.
- Google: Google Analytics, and Google Workspace for our email. Google may process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
We don't sell your personal information or share it for advertising. We make no automated decisions about you.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to limit or object to its use, or to get a copy. You can withdraw consent at any time: , or email platform@nextbeing.ai to leave the waitlist. You can also complain to your data protection authority.
